We are so excited to be preparing for our annual Spring Festival and hope that you will consider being a part of it! The purpose of the Spring Festival is to provide financial support to our teachers and staff through fundraising efforts and FUN!

The mission of Edgewood Elementary School is to encourage excellence every day while empowering every student to reach his or her unique potential. Our school serves al most 900 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Edgewood Elementary has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We have also been selected to serve as a demonstration site for Alabama's Reading Initiative. Edgewood School was first established in the 1920s and has remained a vital part of the Homewood community for over eighty years.

The date of the upcoming Spring Festival is April 13, 2024 from 3pm-7pm!
